The New South Wales Rod Fishers' Society Library
As a Sydney based fly fishing club one of the Society's principal assets is its specialist library containing fishing memorabilia and most of the classic Australian and New Zealand fly fishing books. The library is almost as old as the Society itself and has grown through the years by both purchase and donation.
Most books in the library are available for loan to members. Borrowed books can either be collected from the Honorary Secretary or sent out to members through the post and returned the same way. Borrowing costs only apply to those members who request that books be sent out to them by post and these are limited to the actual costs of postage and insurance.

If you are a member, and you wish to borrow a book, please E-mail the request to the Honorary Secretary whose details are on the Contact Us page.

Tight Lines
Members are kept in touch with our two publications: Tight Lines Bulletin, which is published four times each year, and the Tight Lines Journal which is an annual.
The Bulletin is edited by John Vaccaro and keeps members informed of current and future events, guest speakers, Field Programs and reports on recent trips.
The Tight Lines Journal is edited by Geoff King and has a magazine format. It contains articles by members and about members, past and present, articles on history, and fishing adventures here and overseas.
Contributions to the Bulletin and Journal
The editors appeal to members to contribute to the Society's publications by submitting articles, memoirs, photographs, art works, fishing stories, true as well as untrue, helpful advice which could be of interest to the membership.
